If you were to ask me whether, in my opinion, you should or shouldn’t buy from soccertriads.com, I would tell you to read this blog post.
I first heard of this company a few weeks before the 2010 World Cup. Their shirt prices seemed very reasonable indeed, and with Google Checkout shipping was free. Fantastic, I thought, I’ll grab myself an England shirt and support our team to victory! Never have I been so far from the truth.
I ordered my shirt almost 7 weeks before England’s first game. The shirt eventually arrived after England were knocked out of the world cup.
Ok, I know my beloved team were absolute tosh at this World Cup, but come on,we’re looking at about two months for a shirt to arrive! How on earth could it take so long? I was very unhappy about the amount of time it took – and the fact I didn’t get to wear it while watching any of the matches. To top it off, England then decided they were going to release another new shirt.
I did enquire about the amount of time it would take for the shirt to arrive, after I’d been waiting for about 5 or 6 weeks. I got the following response from support@soccertriads.com:
Hi, Delivery normally takes around 10 days so should arrive with you next week. Thanks Sean
Normally ten days, but for me, a good two months? Charming.
I decided I was going to return it. It was fully within my rights to do so, even if I didn’t have a problem with the shirt. But with it being completely useless to me, still sealed and unopened in it’s plastic wrapper, I fired off an email to Soccer Triads asking for returns information.
I was told to mail the shirt to Thailand:

Odd that… when Google Checkout gave me an English address:

Now I didn’t enjoy geography at school but seriously…
I started thinking that this sounded a bit dodgy, but wanted to at least get my money back. I checked with a few couriers and the Post Office for prices for recorded delivery. It turns out the postage was going to cost more than the shirt itself. I wasn’t pleased. I emailed Sean again.
Although I felt like I was getting some pretty terrible customer service, I was never rude to Sean or anyone on the Soccer Triads team. But when I said I couldn’t find any way of sending the shirt back via recorded delivery for a reasonable amount, I started getting some rather shirty emails back. This amused me somewhat, especially after reading the following in the about us section on their web site:

We operate with a personalized customer service and make every effort to make sure every customer is left 100% happy. We have been in business since 2001 and have grown thru the years with thousands of return customers bolstering our ability to stock and supply the best and most popular teams around the globe.
Aww shucks, I’m welling up.
Apart from the poor grammar, I also notice later in the text the use of the word thru, which really doesn’t seem that English to me.
Eventaully I decided to cut my losses and see if I could, instead, get another shirt, which would go some way in replacing the England one. Cue: several more emails back and forth to Sean, and repeatedly giving Soccer Triads one more chance to help me before I reported them to Google.
After not really getting any where, I finally decided it was probably in everyone’s best interest to let Google know. Unfortunately, it had taken so long for me to try and amicabally resolve this that Google Checkout’s 3 month to sort it out or we don’t care policy had expired.
I was finally told I could choose another shirt and get a reduction on it. I chose a Man Utd home shirt, with Chicarito on the back… surely everything was going to be just fine now!
Sean emailed me back after I had made my choice, with my £8 voucher code:

Now, I don’t like to jump to conclusions, but does that offer code look a little… suspect, to anyone else? I’m sure I don’t need to spell it out. Is this what Sean really thought of me? I can pretty safely assume he created this offer code, as he was the one dealing with me.
Maybe it was generated? Possibly. Pretty unlikely though – how often do promo codes get generated? A list of codes I’ve used in the past: hosting20, FREESHIP, summer. This is the typical type of promo code, that describes why you are getting money off something.
Alas, I decided not to say anything. If I was going to get my shirt, I had to shut up and wait, and not annoy Sean any more, or who knows what he might say?
My shirt arrived this morning. It is now the 11th October. That’s a little over four months it has taken for this particular transaction to take place. Am I a 100% satisfied customer, as Soccer Triads so deperately strive to achieve?
It occured to me (admittedly, probably a little longer than it should have) that these shirts, coming from Thailand, and for the prices they are being sold for, are probably fakes anyway.
So with a 2 month delivery time, a fake shirt and a customer service representative who thinks I’m a cun2, was it worth saving £20?
In a way, yes. Hopefully my experience with Soccer Triads will enlighten a few other people before they make a mistake. I will be passing this further information on to Google Checkout too — I even have a week or two left before my 3 month cut off runs out to make an official complaint.
I invite Soccer Triads to respond. As long as you don’t call me a cun2.

I have been very unsuccesfully trying to get a refund for my shirt since the middle of August. I have been emailing Kevin as opposed to Sean and he keeps saying that he is waiting for the package to be returned.
Royal mail (or any other delivery courier) have not tried to deliver this parcel. When I questioned this fact, they provided me with a royal mail tracking number that would only state it was being returned to the sender – it did not tell me which it address it was being returned from and don’t believe this tracking number was in relation to my address.
They have requested that I look into the issue of delivery – how can I if I wasn’t the person who sent it – are they idiots????
Two months later they still state they won’t refund until the package has been returned.
Paypal won’t help as I was over 45 days when I tried to raise a dispute.
Soccertriads are purposely deceiving their paying public as to where they are based. The Northampton address seems to relate to an off licence?!?!?!
I have never encountered customer service so bad – PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE SOCCER TRIADS you will only be disappointed and lose money.
i am glad that i have not used this website and found this blog. i sent my friend the lin k to this website and we were both going to buy liverpool shirts. he started to register and i still looked at the shirts in amazment ath the prices… then i get a message off my friend saying ” im not sure of this site mate” to which i clicked on register and looked for the https at the start of the address… it wasnt there… which meant that my friend was right. we were both left disappointed, yet glad we wernt ripped off. i shall let my friend know of this blog to see his reaction. thank you so much for putting this on the internet, it has definatly saved me some time, and well earned money :)
I have to say I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences with Soccer Triads.
I have purchased the Manchester City and Spain shirts, both with name and numbers on the back. The sizing has been perfect, they came within 14 days and they are indistinguishable from the original. No shrinkage in the wash. No degradation of quality.

The author of this blog clearly has a grievance – and I do sympathise. Waiting two months for a shirt is not on. I waited two months for a shirt from fitbakits.com and when it came, it was the wrong size and it was exceptionally poor quality. It took 58 days – and that is no exaggeration.
But, and I can only speak for myself, there has been nothing like this with Soccer Triads in my experience.
I also ordered a medium in the Valencia shirt which came yesterday and is also excellent. I really can not complain.
If you don’t like Soccer Triads, you could always use http://www.bornprosper.com. They took just over two weeks to arrive, and the shirt I bought (Brazil) was almost bang on, except for the green line on the sleeves being printed on with a sticker-like material as opposed to with the little holes. They are also slightly cheaper.
They’re both excellent in my view, both produce excellent goods. I have to say personally that I will be elaning towards Soccer Triads, but I wouldn’t hesitate to use Bornprosper.
I recommend, if you’re boycotting ST, to try them.
And they won’t call you a CUN2!! (That said, if someone was giving me money off, they could call me anything they wanted).

I’m glad you’ve had good experiences with them, it’s nice to see not all of us are getting ripped off. If they work for you I’m sure you will continue using them.
Sadly, for me, decent customer service means they will try their hardest to rectify any problems and treat each customer the same, not pick and choose people at random.
Besides, I gave them more than enough chances and they consistently disappointed me. It seems like there are plenty of other people who agree, so I’m confident I’m not overly sensitive to the situation.

I had a similar experience with them over the last few months. I ordered 3 shirts from them back in September, and only received 2. When I asked for tracking numbers, they indicated that there were 2 numbers on record, and that they both showed they were delivered, so they asked to wait for a bit for the shirt to arrive. More than 2 months after the order, I send for a status check, and they say that according to the tracking information, there was an attempted delivery but there was no one there, so after staying in the post office for a month, it was sent back to sender. What I notice, is that it turns out there was a 3rd tracking number which they hadn’t provided, so I was unable to check for any shipments the whole time the shirt was in the post office next door.
Anyhow, they promise to send me the shirt once it’s sent back. A month goes by, and still nothing. So I sent an email asking them to just send me a replacement shirt, and the wonderful Kevin says he consulted with the owner Sean who said that they will just have to wait for the shirt to be sent back. I replied saying that they had 1 of 2 option, either send me a shirt immediately, or keep the shirt and lose me and my friends as a customer. So the wonderful Kevin gets back to me with how I’m being unreasonable, that I’m expecting them to print another shirt and send it (I doubt that I’m the only one ordering a ManU Home Jersey with Rooney on the back) and went on to say, and I quote,” Then you try and be clever by making a threat about losing you and your friends and reporting us to Google!!” … so I replied telling him that I did not want the shirt or my money back, and promised him that I would make every effort for people to know that soccertriad.com were rude, unprofessional, and unreliable. I would have been OK with them coming back with an apology for their mistake, but instead insisted on blaming me for their failure to provide me a tracking number and to get a product I already paid for, and to go on to insult me.
Stay away. Not worth the headache.
wow i wish i read this before i ordered them, i made an order for 2 jerseys on December 13th, 2010 it is now Jan 17th , 2011 and still do not have them he said the jerseys would arrive 10-12 days… so i was happy cuz they might make it in time for christmas so i can give them as a gift to a friend. i am also dealing with KEVIN and he only decided to tell me January 8 after i kept asking for my tracking number where my jerseys were and so on heres wat he had to say “I have found out the problem. Unfortunately your order has not shipped yet because there was a delay as the printer decided to close for an extended vacation! They reopened on Tuesday and we will ship your order as soon as possible.

I am in same position as you, i ordered 2 Arsenal Kits on 12th Oct, they took about 2 weeks to arrive, but when they did come the kits were completely different materials and huge ( i ordered them for my kids), They were for xmas presents. I posted them off on the 8th November with full instructions in side for reorder.
Am still waiting!!! and the delightfull Kevin (not) keeps telling me they have not arrived yet, i am now in contact with post office to see if they can shed some light on the matter, I knew when I posted it off to Thailand, it was dodgy…
All I want now is a complete refund but doubt I will get far with Kevin…

I can relate to bot situations, as i ordered three jerseys on the 14th December in which they told me it could take anything up to 10days to receive, which i thought, worse case scenario that i receive them on xmas eve. But xmas past and still no sign. I then emailed the company and ‘Kevin’ replied, saying that the printer had taken an extended holiday but would return on the third. They would then be sent that day and would arrive before the 13th. They never arrived by that date, so I emailed Kevin back and he said that they were posted on the 10th and I should receive them within 7-10days. I did receive my jerseys on the 20th of Jan 2011.
It was quite annoying that it took so long to receive the jerseys because it meant i didnt have the presents for my brothers. If they had of told me from the start that it would take a month, it would have been alright, because atleast then i could have made other arrangements for xmas and I wouldn’t have been worrying about when they woukd come, etc.
Now that I have received the jerseys, I personally think the jerseys are of excellent quality and very cheap compared to buying it in other shops. So i would recommend the quality of the jersey, but i certainly dont know if it’s worth the effort if your looking the jersey in a short period.

Right…so it seems like these guys ar egetting the shirts from somebody else. If we find out who it is, then maybe we can bypass ST and buy directly (btw, probably cheaper too).
It could well be bornprosper and that they’re buying them in bulk. The only other site I know is 9footballshirt, but their sponsor started peeling off the shirt I bought so I don’t think so (whatever you say about ST service, their shirts are good).

I have bought from soccertriads many many times. I am a very happy customer. Yes the delivery takes a while but its better than buying from jd sports for £50+.
In all honesty i must have bought 50 shirts for myself and some friends. Some have arrived within a week and some have taken a month. I think it just depends on there postal service not soccertriads. The shirts are obviously coming from overseas because the price is so low and delivery will take 10+ day

I ordered a Barcelona shirt that did not arrive so they sent out another shirt and a shirt for free.
I like soccertriads and i don’t think they should get as much stick as they are getting.
The website is easy to use, free shipping with google checkout. Cheap, but quality shirts.
Also like to add that they clearance section is good, updated regularly. All misfit shirts that have slight mistakes on them are in the clearance section super cheap.
Overall, Great prices, great shirts, polite customer service, delivery could be faster but all in all soccertriads is the best website for shirts, better than Gigame shop, bornprosper etc.

I should have done more research before I made the purchase… The forum I researched apparently had all satisfied customers (despite slow shipping) so I ordered from them. Wow… what a mistake that is. I am still waiting for this Kevin guy to contact me back wrt tracking numbers… ugh.

The Gigameshop.com website is the same as Bornprosper. I think the guy changed the name and layout as Bornprosper have gone by several names in the past (Jomzajung, Bestway4u etc).
Very reliable bunch of people in my experience.
I have used soccertriads a number of times. Yes shipping can be slow but the garments have always been good. I ordered a new Zealand just before the world cup after 14 days i sent a polite email and they offered me a free shirt as compensation. I got the compensated shirt just before the world cup but the new Zealand shirt arrived the day after they were knocked out. No harm done as there customer service had won me over. Not entirely sure if these guys are suppliers or not. I will say though that they offer similar products in all sizes and are price at around £17. They also offer discounts to bulk buyers as well as drop shipping (drop shipping is where a wholesaler posts directly to a customer who bought through the middle company).
Notice how when Soccertriads are based in Scotland but come from far east? Could that be why?

I live in USA and my friends have gotten jerseys from soccertriads.com and said it takes 3 weeks to a month to get them. I thinking about getting a jersey from them. I’m a pretty casual soccer fan (I watch the world cup, watch a few games, and play fifa11) but in america im considered an “expert”. Lame, I know. I was wondering what other sites I could use to buy a jersey, and who I should get. I dont want a mainstream guy like Drogba, Torres, etc. because my friends have them. I like guys more like Eto’o and Robinho.

Got to say that I’ve bought many shirts over the last couple of years from soccertriads & although deivery can take up to a month they do arrive. One shirt i did order didnt arrived, polite email request from me resulted in being told that out of stock & would i like a replacement..cool with me..& got it within 14 day. I can’t complain, & will continue using.
I’ve been using SoccerTriads regularly for about 18 months now, and encountered fantastic service up until around July 2010.
I had about 3 shirts which I was waiting for and come September, they STILL hadn’t arrived (around 10 weeks at this point). A few emails to them didn’t get any response, until I began to email them daily asking why they were ignoring me. Eventually I got a response saying the shirts must’ve been lost in the post, and they’d send me another 3 out. 4 weeks later, still nothing, so I email them yet again.
Eventually I get a response and another apology. I request a refund, but they assure me they’ve sent out ANOTHER 3 shirts and they’d be with me soon. About a week later, all three shirts arrived.
I did a bit of research and noticed that a lot of people seemed to have problems over the summer. I’m not sure if they were just overwhelmed with the demand due to the World Cup or whether they genuinely had postal problems (doubtful), but something wasn’t right.
I’ve since cautiously ordered a few more shirts from them and they’ve all arrived within two weeks, so service seems to be resumed as normal.

I have been strongly considering getting some shirts from socccertriads, i have been looking for the long sleeved Real Madrid home shirt for a long time now and this seems to be the only place I can find this. I have been looking at the Spainish long sleeved shirt also. Has anyone purchased these items? if so, how was the quality?
I’ve got the Real Madrid LS and it’s great. Their products are always flawless – their service just leaves a little to be desired at times.

Sorry to hear of folks problems with soccertriads.I have bought a couple of tops for myself which were absolutely perfect and ordered two barcelona away kits for my two boys which were not the correct colour,so i think the kids strips are less authentic than the adults kits.Just ordered another two international tops today and they usually take about a month to come if it is to go by my last purchases.Thought email replies from kevin and sean were ok.
My shirt from Dortmund arived after 2 weeks , so delivery…. they didn’t lie about it :)

seems a few people had problems…. I got my order fairly quickly..they were friendly and gave me a discount. Yes the shirts are fake..obviously… but are a good quality.. I had a custom order.. 10 jerseys with different names/numbers for our club team here and also picked up a couple of jerseys in their clearance section. Shipping wasn’t lightning fast..but for how cheap it is can’t complain much..even if you don’t use google check out..its only a few dollars. I’d say use them if you aren’t in a rush and actually know what size items you need.

Must just be man u fans the website doesn’t like, i’ve bought 3 shirts of there, each came in less than a month (1 took a little while but the other 2 were just a week or so if I recolect) all in good condition (and have stayed in condition, not shrunk in the wash or anything) and all for an AMAZING price.

Was just looking at my liverpool top. The liverpool website is offer prizes for entering a unique figure on the hologram. of course mine has been photocopied or something and doesnt work. Iv ordered before and its been fine. When your spending only £20 on a top thats actually £60 you have to be a bit more lenient and accept that they have shit customer service
The point here is that Soccer Triads claim they have first class support. This is the web site I bought from, not some dodgy back-of-me-van outlet on a Saturday afternoon. Or, so I thought.

First time i ordered 14 shirts for me and my friend, all of them arrived in 3 weeks because of customs, except 2 that was delayed for more 2 weeks.
After that, i’ve just ordered more 25 shirts from them to resell here, and i won 1 for free for being 300th follower on twitter. All of the 25 shirts are already in my country, just waiting the customs issue to get them, but in overall i’m very happy with customer service from soccertriads, kevin replies all my msgs in 24 hours or less, i will continue buying with them for sure

Was considering making a bulk order from soccer triads and I saw this site. My first order from them was a Man U top which didn’t arrive by a month and so I lodged a dispute with Paypal and got my money back. Two weeks later to my shock I got a shirt in the post. Very good quality. My bro has ordered R. Madrid tops from them no problem.
However I’m looking to buy about 20 AC Milan tops and shorts for my team’s kit next season and would need it done efficiently. Should I take the risk? I also saw some othe other sites posted here were selling at even cheaper than ST, could I go for one of them and not compromise on quality? In summary I’m confused now.
milan tops are good quality, you can ask him for the 20 you want, but ask to send 10 packages with 2 shirts in each otherwise customs of your country will prob stop
i bought 30 shirts last time and it cames in packages of 3-4 shirts each, no problem about customs..
I must say I have had a pleasant experience with Soccer Triads myself.
I had seen my friend wearing his new Liverpool shirt and overheard him saying it cost less than £20, I asked him where he got it from and he directed me to Soccer Triads. He warned me that the shirt took a few weeks to get there and it was fake, but was exceptional quality. That night I ordered my Liverpool top for the season ahead on ST, with printing on the back and Premier League patches on the sleeves.
I waited two weeks to get £40 off the shirt, and I’m glad I did. It has been through many a wash and I’d say the quality is still as good as an official Adidas product.
I never had to contact customer support, everything was as easy as clicking a button.
It’s all luck if you get your order or not, the company are sending the shirts, yes they come from Thailand but some packages can be seized in customs and if your order is unlucky enough to be in that batch of shirts then your more or less screwed!!!
I am looking forward to buying 5 or 6 jerseys from soccer triads. I like the site because of the freedom you have with the name and number on the back. I have sent them an email asking if they promise to send jerseys because my friends say they dont send any. lol. just to see what their response is. I havent bought anything from them yet. I have one question. Is the numbering and lettering on the back of the jersey, heavier or thicker than real jerseys???

having bought about 30 to 40 shirts through soccertriads over the last few years i have had nothing but good service and great shirts for the money.
To be fair, most people know what they’re getting with soccertriads. They’re fake shirts, they’re a fraction of the price, they take a little while to come, but the quality is pretty close to the genuine article. It’s a slight risk because it might get seized by customs, but most people think it’s worth it rather than paying the nonsensical prices for a genuine shirt. If you want the quick delivery and security of the genuine article then you have to pay more than double the price. It’s up to you.

1 of them..i have contacted kevin i few times about the tops all i get is excuses i have even asked for money back but kevin said
dispatch is working on my order..lol..this is on going i will keep you’s informed…the top the did send had iron marks where bage was put on back and front club badge is not even close to real deal…and robbie who posted is well in with soccertriad i got well ripped off
I’ve ordered from soccer triads about 4 times, only once had a problem. recently bought the new liverpool away, one month later, still no shirt. an email later and i get another sent by special delivery at no extra cost.
i have heard of people having trouble with them before mind. but if you want cheap and asian, expect the worst.
I’m also having problems with soccertriads. my first order went fine, but this second one, is not. it’s been 42 days and still no shirt.

Got a letter 2 weeks later informing me that , the jersey had be seized due to it being counterfeit goods

You can’t really fault the website for that. From looking at the website the shirts are quite obviously fakes, so you run the risk of them being seized (rightfully so) anytime you order surely?
I ordered the Barcelona top and shorts for my boy on 23rd June.
Got an email on 25th June to say the order had been shipped.

I’ve sent a couple of emails regarding my order, the latest being this morning saying I want a refund.
Not had a reply from them yet though, very poor service.

In all seriousness Sandra I’d make sure you get an alternative present, I’d really hate to think you’d rely on the shirts arriving. At worst you can send back other shirts you get from a reputable company under the distance selling act if they do end up arriving. Good luck!
I’ve just found this site and wish I’d seen it before ordering a shirt. I ordered a Man C shirt on the 1st August and have just emailed them for a tracking number. The email got bounced back saying webmaster@soccertriads does not exist. Great. Does anyone have an alternative email? I will also update on here if the shirt arrives. Not feeling over confident though…

22nd of Septemeber and still no sign of shirt. Was emailed by Kevein to say it would dispatch around 6th September. I mailed him yesterday to be told that they’d had some problems with suppliers but will definitely be shipped tomorrow. Lets wait and see…
The saga continues (11th October) last week I finally recieved a shirt. The only problem was that it was the wrong shirt, in the wrong size for (can you guess..)the wrong team! I contacted ST and they asked me to send the shirt back for a refund. The cost of sending to Thailand ‘signed for’ plus the shirt would have been almost as much as buying a replica kit from JJB. After several emails to and fro Sean agreed to dispatch the correct shirt for free but this hasn’t yet arrived. On the plus side the shirt looked of pretty good quality but no use to me.. Will post again here (thanks Leonard)with the next update

Not going to lie… but I’ve bought 5 shirts from this exact website, admittedly waiting just under 2 months, but the shirts are 100% real, I have checked the serial codes, I do have a personal account with them, so I don’t know whether this bares anything with why I haven’t had any authenticity problems?

Hello, I ordered a shirt from soccertriads last year for the world cup, it arrived in reasonable time but it was far to big, I emailed them and was told to send it back to Thailand by Sean, and told that I would be refunded, I sent the shirt back to Thailand but never received my £17 refund, on a brighter note, the shirt looked pretty smart.

my niece recently purchased 2 jerseys from soccertriads. after weeks of waiting for the arrival of these items she found out they had been confiscated by customs as they come in from Germany and they were then analysed by Nike them selves and the results came back they were counterfeit articles I think it a disgrace in this day and age that people can set up these website and just rip people off she has now lost out on €50 she has contacted Kevin at soccer triads on many occasions and at first he seemed really helpful until she ask what he could do about it ie new jerseys and refund her cash and all of a sudden he forgets how to reply i think this website should be taken down as they are not selling genuine articles
I found this website and i think i will share my experience with soccertriads. I found it on some foruns where people said they had great deal for the them. The shirts looked real, and just 1 out of 15 guys actually had problems with the shirts. So i ordered 2 on my first try. It took really long time, they said it was shipped and 2 weeks later i found that the printing machine was malfunctioning. They say they ship it right away to sound competent i guess. Anyway after i found out the problem, they said they would ship it, and it only took 5 more days. I found both of the shirts perfect, and 100% real. I compared in my club shop and there’s no doubt, they worth the wait.
My second experience was again 2 shirts, one for me and one for my brother. My brother’s roma shirt was fine. Mine from inter, was a clear counterfeit, and had not the patches i ordered. I asked kevin for a refund, sent the shirt back and got it.
This is about it, in the forum i visited there were very little complaints, and out of the total 4 shirts i bought from them, 3 are 100% real, being one fake. Its a risky order i guess, i can say i’m actually 70% satisfacted, because the 2 first shirts were really good, and they refund me for the counterfiet. I had no problem with the goods in the airport too. So in the end its up to you. This buisness is only getting bigger, because real shirts are abnormally expensive. I love my club, but paying 80€ just for a shirt?No thanks, i will take chances with soccertriads in the future. They are slow, you need to be patient. For me it worked out fine 3 out 4 shirts.
just a note to warn about buying anything from soccertriads.I ordered a jersey for my sons birthday but nothing arrived for two weeks.I mailed them and was informed that the paymet was recieved and the jersey was on its way. Two more weeks passed and still no sign but then I GOT A LOVELY LETTER FROM OUR FRIENDS IN CUSTOMS AND REVNUE informing me that my nike jersey had been siezed because it was a fake.SENT a mail to soccertriads but still no reply.

After reading the above blog it is quite surprising how much negative criticism Soccer Triads is coming under.
I have purchased 3 shirts from there within the last few months, referred 4 or 5 people there to buy shirts and ALL of us have been extremely satisfied.
The shirts have always arrived on time and well packaged whilst Kevin has always delivered fantastic customer service.
This blog clearly supports the old saying that if you have bad customer service you’ll tell as many people as possible, if you have good customer service, it’s what you expected so you won’t tell anybody.
I will continue to buy off Soccer Triads as I have complete faith in the company as a whole.
Just to summarise. I AM NOT, IN ANY WAY ASSOCIATED TO SOCCER TRIADS OR ANYBODY THAT WORKS FOR SOCCER TRIADS. I can provide evidence from Google Checkout that displays each of my purchases from them.
I hope that Soccer Triads will continue to supply the masses with quality items at the unbelievable prices they do.

I’m really pleased you have had a decent experience with Soccer Triads. Yes, comments backing up my blog post make for good reading, but in reality I don’t want anyone to have a poor experience, hence why I posted it in te first place.
The fact of the matter is though, that this was more than just a one off bad experience and there are many reasons I made the post. I receive bad customer service all the time, we all do, it would be silly to post a blog post every time it happened. This was an ongoing battle though, for months, and I’m obviously not the first it’s happened to. Interestingly, soccer triads have never tried to contact me to apologise and resolve the issue. I believe I am still 2nd place in google when you search for soccer triads. It can’t be good for them. This was never the purpose, in fact I was surprised anyone even reads this if I’m honest! But at the same time I’m pleased, I completely agree with honest, open reviews and people being brought to account whether it is good or bad.
And, as you would see if you saw my various social network profiles, I’m always very happy to freely promote and discuss great customer service, not just the bad. I’d put my neck on the line and say I post more about good stuff than bad, so it’s not just a case of an angry consumer posting after an unfortunate incident. But then my point is, even if it was, I feel that in this case it would be deserved.
Alas, I’m glad you and your friends have had no problems and decent service :)
Hi guys after reading all the complaints I am now very worried about ordering from ST. I am looking to buy in bulk maybe 25-30 shirts at a time to re sell, I dont like the comments about customs siezing them. Does anybody know anywhere else where I can order from without this risk and excellent quality which ST shirts seem to be. I have looked at a few other sites from similar prices and cheaper and the quality does not look any where near as ST
I’ve used soccertriads for a while now and never have any trouble until recently.
Of my last two orders one top had a mark on the sponsor. Emailed them and was offered to return it or get a discount of my next order – which was reasonable.
The second order was worse however. The name on the back has peeled away and the badges on the arms are coming loose. I haven’t emailed them about this order because, well, I couldn’t be arsed with the hassle.
At the end of the day, these are fakes (excellent quality though) and as a result if there is an occasional dodgy shirt then it has to be expected.
Having placed several orders with them over the last couple of years I would say that the only problems I’ve encountered is when a name and number is being printed on it. I’d recommend just ordering the shirt by itself. Faster delivery and less likely to have something wrong with it.
But hey, if all else fails then pay extra for the genuine gear ;)
Anyone had similar naff experience with http://www.football-kits-direct.com ? Obvious fakes on receipt.
I can confirm that football-kits-direct are crap, as are 9football shirt. They take the same length of time to come from ST but are very poor quality.
On the otherhand, bestway4u/bornprosper/jomzajung (same company) do excellent shirts, on par with soccertriads. And their customer service is better too.

It’s quite bad to hear the experience you’ve had Leonard as I’ve had a similar problem as you did, but the customer service i received was quite the opposite! Shirt came around 2 weeks after ordering it, which was expected.
I ordered 2 shirts- Manchester City home and Werder Bremen away, the City one was fine but they sent the wrong size in my Werder Bremen shirt which was annoying. Emailed the site and they got back to me on the same day, they offered me a to either send it back (which, like you realized it would be expensive) or get a £10 voucher. I personally was really pleased with this as i could order a new shirt and have a christmas present sorted for my cousin!
Obviously customer service varies though, and it seems you we’re handed a bad deal. Guess i just wanted to give my experience of the site as it was really good for myself.
It’s a shame that i only found this site now.

They are always lying to me. First they said that the prints had a delay (as usual), then they will send my in a few days, after that they were still there. It’s so stupid!

I thought that i had made a big mistake and wished i never ordered anything from them. 7 days later my shirt had arrived, was perfectly fine and i am happy with my purchase. I dont doubt that some people have been let down or orders have taken ages to arrive but i had no probs at all. a good few of my mates buy from s.t and only one never got his top(customs intercepted it). hope this is of some help to anyone who is considering or has bought from soccertriads

Yet another unhappy shopper….ordered back in August and found this blog after so kinda put it to the back of my mind and accepted it probably wouldn’t arrive.Bored 1 night I emailed Kevin to find out it amazingly was posted the day before(21st October!!)Today is Nov 8th and according to AN POST tracking in Ireland its been at customs since 26th October..GREAT…All I can say is in the current economic climate when everyone is trying to save a few €€ DO NOT BUY FROM SOCCERTRIADS..its not worth the hassle..
This Company are appalling. I ordered a shirt from them on 10/10/11, I recieved an email on 14/10/11 informing me that my shirt had been shipped. On the 31/10/11 I sent an email because i had not recieved the shirt and requesting an update on delivery. I had a reply from Kevin who told me that they had just got the requested shirt back in stock and they would ship it that day. I emailed back and said that they informed me on the 14/10/11 that the shirt had been shipped.Kevin replied that it must have been sent in error.
I sent another email today as i have still not recieved the shirt,you may have already guessed what Kevins reply was!!!
They could’nt find a tracking number and would send out a replacement, sounds familiar does it not. Kevin also informed me that the shipping company they use does not supply tracking numbers for 15% of the orders they send out!!!!!!!. Well i’m afraid i would’nt use that shipping company under those circumstances. I informed Kevin that i did not want a replacement and requested a refund. Time will tell.
I requested a refound as well and after that they didn’t say nothing. i don’t know what to do…
Vanessa i would contact whoever you paid through,Google Checkout or Paypal and obtain your refund that way. I would imagine you will be waiting a long time for these rip off merchants to get back to you.
I just bought a t-shirt. Found this blog becase i was trying to check on my order and the site is down or something…so i searched google to try and find out why…I guess I was ripped of also…time will tell.

Final update (from 11th October) my correct shirt finally arrived on the 1st November, exactly 3 months after ordering it. I think it’s a fake shirt but is of very good quality. ST offered me a £10 voucher against a further spend as a way of apologising for the delay. I then used this to order my brother-in-law a Man City home shirt on the 12th November. This arrived yesterday (11 days) and is identical to my genuine UK sports shop bought shirt. I have to say that throughout my correspondence Kevin has been polite and courteous. On balance I would recommend using ST again just be prepared for a wait

I’ll add to the sentiments of the original blog.
I’ve ordered in the past without a problem but they have gone beyond a joke this time.
Placed an ordered on November 9th and had confirmation it was dispatched on November 10th.
Gave it until yesterday (22 days) before chasing it up only to be told ‘there was a delay, it was shipped on November 29th and will be with you shortly’. If this is true why not keep me informed?
Given what has gone on above I raised a paypal dispute to ensure I was within my 45 days. I clearly stated in there that I would give them the benefit of the doubt before escalating it to an actual claim and I was only raising the initial dispute to cover myself.
Within 15 minutes soccertriads cancelled my order on their website however despite clearly being at the computer will not respond to my e-mails or to paypal.
On top of all that, if the shirt is truly already on its way to me, what good would it do to cancel the order? It was clearly just a lie to string me along until I was outside of the 45 day limit.

I ordered 3 jerseys from soccertriads 3 weeks ago and to be honest I’m a bit nervous after seeing all these comments. Really it’s a 50 50 chance that I’ll get what I want from them. I was getting pretty upset that it had been 3 weeks but it still wasn’t here. Now I just hope they actually come in the next month and they are what I ordered. One question, I’ve noticed many people’s jerseys have been confiscated by customs. I live in the U.S., and do you think that I have a better chance of getting my jerseys confiscated, or since football isn’t a big deal here my chances are better than you guys in England?
Also, for anyone looking for a good website that sells high quality soccer jerseys, I recommend jerseysfootball.com. I ordered 3 jerseys from them 5-6 months ago, and they came in 8 days, not to mention that the prices were very good as well. i have ordered from soccertriads for 11 months now and the longest i have waited for delivery to the UK is 15 days. Have no problems with using them.
Shirt arrived after 28 days in perfect condition, impossible to tell apart from genuine. I’m very satisfied and have just placed a new order.

Do not purchase anything from Soccer Triads, all of their garments are counterfeits from the far east. I ordered three shirts, they took an absolute age to arrive – when I questioned Soccer Triads direct about this, I was fobbed off with generic auto-replies from their mailbox. AVOID AT ALL COSTS and don’t be fooled by the lure of cheap deals – if it seems too good to be true online, it generally is. This has happened to numerous people I know too.
Was torn between ST and Bornprosper. Went for SC ordered a shirt which was meant to be a 46″ XL. Came after 15 days or so and initially I thought it looked nice as I took it out the wrapper.
Held it up and thought it looks a bit thin and long but checked the label and it said XL. Tried it on and wow I must have put a couple of stone on then as either I now need a XXXL or the shirt is not really a XL – you guess which one it is….
Whipped it off, did a quick measurement and it’s 42″ at the most. Badge also has unfinished stitching and the sponsor is on wonky.
Have had the return to us BS emails in Thailand.. Why are you giving me a UK address then numbnuts… have now replied and threatened making a claim so will see where this gets me.

I personally have bought from soccertriads many times, and usually don’t have a problem. I would say i have bought probably around 15 shirts from them, and as someone said earlier, i have had shirts arrive in 10 days, but have also had them take 20-30 days and on one occasion nearly 6 weeks. Twice they have made a mistake with my order, first i ordered a Liverpool top with Dalglish 7 on the back and they send one with Keane 7 on, which i wasn’t too fussed about so i didn’t contact them. Second time i ordered a Real Madrid home shirt with Alonso 14, and they sent one with Ronaldo 7. As a Liverpool fan, i would never wear a shirt with Ronaldo’s name on, so i contacted them, and they offered a replacement (they had no Real Madrid left so i got an England shirt instead) and also allowed me to keep the one i had already recieved (i gave it to a friend).
So what i would say to anyone thinking about buying from them is, if you want 100% reliability, quick delivery and brilliant customer service, don’t buy from soccertriads. If you are happy to compromise slightly in these areas in order to save some money, then they are a decent place to buy from.
I dont know what some of you guys are about..I ordered a mens Liverpool shirt on December 17th,a bad time of the year,and the shirt arrived today,January 3rd.It was exactly what I ordered.
Maybe some of you guys hit the keys after a couple of brown ones and sent wrong orders or whatever.

I have to say the original blog sounds like a bitter rant. Let’s cut to the chase, we are all football fans unwilling to shell out £50 at home for tops so we hunt these sites.
I’ve used soccertriads, got my top in a few weeks, paid bottom dollar and got a top that is as close to the real thing as I could have hoped for, tags and all.
You get what you pay for and it says a lot that you returned “your beloved” England top. Some fan, says a lot.
Don;t create a bunch of morals to suit your argument when at the end of the day we all just want a cheap top.
I have a large stash of shirts bought from stores like JJB and Sports Direct. Originally I had no idea they were fakes (excuse my ignorance), hence me exclaiming my dismay when I realised. Moreover, when you receive customer service like this, no matter what they’re selling, why should you just take it for what it is?
I don’t want to judge other people who knowingly want to buy fake shirts. If they are strapped for cash but still want to wear the colours, then so be it. I for one wouldn’t want to line the pockets of the Glazers any more than I have to. But when they are getting ripped off, lied to and abused, that’s more than they deserve for just saving a few bob. If you didn’t receive your shirt for several months, then were lied to, then were called something that offended you, you wouldn’t have posted on this blog with your own bitter rant.
I never did return my England top. I was going to, yes, but it was out of the principle of the abuse I received. If I’d have known these were knock-offs I wouldn’t have bothered. And if I had ordered from JJB Sports online and it had taken that amount of time, I would have done the same. So would you. Besides, they released a new shirt almost immediately after it arrived.

I ordered my Barcelona 12/13 home shirt on the 18th April 2012, had an email to say it was shipped on the 21st April 2012, I received my shirt on the 27th April 2012. Its absolutely fantastic, can not find anything on them to prove they are fake they look absolutely genuine. I personally think they are 2nds (smallest problem that you can’t find with the eye) but either way I am not going to moan for £17.
My work colleagues order from these all the time and never had any problems apart from having to wait up to three weeks for delivery and for the saving in money thats no problem for me.

I heard about the website soccer triads at then end of the summer of 2011 just as the new season was starting. I tried ordering the borussia dortmund top but for some reason the details I entered didnt go through. I asked my friend who has got 2 or 3 tops off soccer triads before if he could order this top with LUCAS and a number on the back for £25 and I gave him the money to do so. He did order it and was told the top should arrive within 14 days. Baring in mind this was mid september of 2011, it is now mid may of 2012, the top still has not arrived and the season is almost over. Borussia Dortmund will be bringing out a new top in a month or two. WHAT A WASTE OF £25!!! My friend has e-mailed them a couple of times to say the top has not arrived and he has had no response. Im not saying this is the case every time you order from soccer triads but I know I’ll never order or ask anyone to order a top for me from this website!

If they’re too small now, by the time your shirts arrive they’ll look like baby clothes. For the hassle you’d save, I’d spend the extra from a reputable retailer.
To answer your question, though, the quality wasn’t perfect but it was never an issue for me, personally.

Sorry that you had a bad time with them, and going by comments here I see quite a few people have, that said though I know a lot of people who have recommended this website.
Let’s be honest, they’re fakes and if you’re willing to try and save some money then that’s what you’re going to get, something that’s not as good as the actual product.
I’ve just bought a shirt from SoccerTriads, even after reading this. I took the risk, deciding that if it’s awful then it’s a lesson learned, if not then bargain!
Happy to report that my shirt arrived today, Material is completely fine, fits really well (probably a little smaller than sizes we’re used to mind. Not an issue for myself however).
It looks like I was one of the lucky ones who had a good experience with soccertriads. I’m sorry you did not have such good luck. My message to others would be, buy at your own risk as it seems you can either have a great service or an awful one with little middle ground!
